Garcia win without title

King really shocked the world tonight…he won against a Haney who in the first round took a left hook that put him down..he bailed out; in the third it was Haney who touched the King very hard and until the fifth round he dominated a Garcia unable to react ( glossing over the weight..). Beginning of the seventh round another left hook turned off Haney who got back up and miraculously resisted despite a punch after the referee’s stop (which we think will affect so much) ( in fact a point was taken away from the king); the match continued with interesting exchanges and a Haney that we will call present absent a landing in the tenth and another in the eleventh sanctioned a victory for a Garcia who really amazed with this masterpiece of his..

Haney suffered that left hook at the first, after the kd,he recovered well but then a shut down at some junctures and not being able to read those hooks, which he usually does very well, completely changed the outcome of the match…. a bravo goes to Garcia who won ( we repeat regardless of the weight he will have been at least a superwelter) but in our opinion what Haney lacked was a lucidity and a pugilistic serenity that at these levels you must always have( in addition to a game plane not exceptional and that is to keep wanting to bring that shot that never went in and then having a father who transmits too much energy to you is not good . .) every time Haney got distracted Ryan placed that left hook that allowed him deservedly and we repeat unexpectedly to win the match; bravo King but after tonight since the champion is always him we will see if there will be a second and third challenge ..in our opinion they would fit…

Another blatant demonstration of when you don’t read a jab, you have prepared the match to perfection you get distracted and your opponent possesses a hook that puts you down..it was a very big mistake not to keep anticipating Ryan with that jab, and in the stages of recovery from fatigue he shouldn’t have paused in front of him with that right hand a bit pendulous, but after all mistakes are made and paid for; Garcia will come out of this win really galvanized and if maybe he can get back in the weight who knows what will happen; we claim that Haney is technically superior but his cin was overrated by us and his eye strike as well..start of the match you can’t cash that blow, which you know is in his repertoire, that then makes you change the whole fate of the bout: it proves that even the best can make mistakes. .at some stages the match was chaotic as if there were some old school accounts to settle…and they are champions..too bad it lost some of the spectacle, but when they wanted to be boxers they put on a first-rate show..too much money is bad for boxing..
