Lara win WBA featherweight

We are in Nottingham for the WBA featherweight face off , Mauricio Lara (26-2-1, 19 KOs) and Leigh Wood (26-3, 16 KOs)

Wood made his boxing shots movements and heart;improved a lot in technical execution but the limit punch is remarkable against such opponents; besides the prediction we knew it would be tough for the English boy, who on his side possesses a great angle, perfect in throwing in the towel and risking making the last seconds interminable and with likely serious damage to the English boy.

In the second round Lara puts on a deadly series and so long that he wins the round by two points in our opinion, and this is the clear demonstration that on the power level the Mexican is really devastating; slyly waiting for the right moment to place a series or a killer blow.

He cashes in a lot, fouling the blows but not always alert and careful; ready to put back to exploit his Mexican wit; he cashes in and puts back, not as much as Wood who explodes more, but Lara puts the blows and his of blows hurt more; it is evident from the marks on the Englishman’s face and how he absorbs the blows; the Mexican has a lot of experience;

in the seventh he places a hook almost at the end of the round, which is devastating; Wood goes down like a stone his legs are stiff it is clear in the slow motion video, he has no more and the team finished the count, throws the towel, wisely we add, the boxer is not in accoro with the corner( but luckily there are corners like that); boxing is not a sport where you get slaughtered, if you go down like the English guy you have to stand still finish the match say goodbye thank you and see what can be done for the future;

beautiful seven rounds offered, bubbly boxing beautiful combinations great rhythm, and an ability that of cashing blows of the Mexican, certainly not common, the English knew it well, who saw him treading the rings their long time ago, and seeing Josh defeated..

We like Lara; very good cin, good shots, a little too sly, banking everything on his winning shot( how can we not blame him), he will give us more shows; there are very good featherers around and like every Mexican fighters he will give beautiful visual joys.
