The Monster Inoue

There is not much to say, we knew he would win; the how was really borderline improbable….

Inoue was faster and quicker in execution, they studied the first bout well; he was given stable orders to accelerate right away; Donaire needs at his age more time to carbonize; but he didn’t have any; that right hand at the end of the first one seriously put him in trouble, before that other blows, to which Nonito couldn’t react or rather he did but it wasn’t enough; the second round was an immediate onslaught with blows that immediately made it clear that he would not last long; age, the big mistake of having wanted a rematch ( but after all when you are a number one and want to unify the belts and your name is Donaire what do you have to do. ..?)..and the knowledge that he was facing a p4p among the top guys, this is the result.

Inoue has been in one of those full ascending phases for a while now; tonight was just repeating history, that in boxing the strongest wins; the Japanese is unrivaled and will continue to write it; he’s fast, after the first match he improved his defense even more, he always hurts but I say hurts, and how do you win it at the moment?!!!

We love boxing even when it tells us that a great champion has arrived…time cannot be beaten although perhaps tonight only Inoue could have beaten him..time.
