Big Brother win

Moloney won a great match against Baez, a taller opponent with a bigger frame.

Moloney showed superior technique that allowed him to keep the match at medium and long distance, where Baez should have had an advantage gives his height, and dominate.

The Australian’s job was made easier by his good reaction to Baez’ intensity, who was constantly trying to get on the inside and connect.

This strategy plainly favored Moloney who proved that beside having better technique he is a harder puncher as well, the marks on Baez’ face leave no doubt; the winner was working gradually and effectively, with short pauses and almost non-stop action.

In the seventh round Baez had registered 458 punches, 87 on point; Maloney had thrown 415, of which 128 hit the mark. This made the difference, aside from his power, technical dexterity and planning.

At the beginning of the 8th Baez would not go to the center of the ring; will the winner fight for the belt?!

We hope to see it soon, Moloney is a great fighter.

Good performance for Nova against Sparrow; the first basically handled the match without taking many risks, a rather technical bout, we didn’t see great superiority by Nova but he got the win, control the fight no risk.

Same for Gonzalez vs Poroso and the victory by majority decision for Planin against Whitaker.

Reymond Yanong proved he is the man to beat; it was a competitive match with Burns, but he showed he has got something more.

We didn’t like Ibes’ ko of Cortez, the action in our opinion started from an instance where Cortez had his hand on the ropes and the action should have been interrupted, but the result is in the books.
