Big Marvin, UFC on ESPN 19 main event

Tonight for the first time in the history of the UFC the main event (the most important and titled match of the evening) saw Mr. Marvin Vettori as the protagonist. And what a protagonist.

Having said this we go to the match; the substance is that: Vettori dominated; at the first one he risked to close the match, a fantastic punch made Jack fall down and he saved himself from experience, he harnessed our Italian in a sort of half guard and he came out of it, at the first round, to then face four others and making us have fun and stay on the line. (as Marvin said: really a tough guy, always ready to fight)

Fantastic the exponential growth of this boy, Vettori, who is young; now he is rightfully in the top five; place that competes him, he is hungry!! wants to get higher, even higher and we hope so. Good angle, the idea of covering with his left hand the chin to remove the right hand of Jack, it worked, at least in the first shot. In the fight we have seen remarkable improvements, and on our feet we were surprised by the speed of the hands, which immediately put his opponent in trouble, who understood from the beginning (like all those who fight), that it would have been a bad night.

Thanks to Marvin impeccable, fast, precise, careful, ambitious, hungry for victory, the idea that he gave from the beginning (characteristic of his matches) is that he wants to dominate, control, outclass, attack at all times, bring blows, he wants to win. We remember him sleeping in foreign gyms, to train (beginning of career) and believe in his dream, and he starts to take some pebbles off his shoes, there is a way to do but as we wrote, the diamond is there!! you have to work it, and a place in the top five fighters is already his, now begins the climb and there is no more mistakes.

Marvin’s jaw is granitic, and his desire to do well defies every law of physics, but he took some blows that he should not have taken, so they will have to work on this, and other improvements at defensive and technical level, but the boy has shown that he is a MAN and now we will see how it will be his way, we are cheering and maybe this summer we go to visit him and bring him the warmth of all the Italian fans, thank you Mr. Marvin.
