Mr Hearn confirmed that the WBC has determined the American and the Englishman, respectively ranked no. 3 and 4, will fight; Devin Haney, the divine that he is, has just recovered from shoulder surgery, so Fortuna stepped aside and that explains this match-up.

It will be very interesting to see which of the two will eventually challenge Devin, assuming the fight actually takes place.

I’m not sure but I don’t believe the match will happen.

Campbell lost to Lynares, Loma and Mendy. The English is a plenty good boxer, but he is not a world champion; he won minor titles, he is at the top of the rankings, but he is missing something and I’m not sure how he could become champion, assuming he’ll fight Ryan.

Ryan is bigger, maybe still slightly behind technically, but compared to Campbell’s previous opponents he’s much more capable of hurting him; let’s say Campbell has never encountered a destroyer, and speedy  like him.

The Flash could pose a problem for many, he is 21 and if he improves a bit more technically and learns to move more while throwing punches, then he will spell trouble for everyone.

The thing is, he has the physique of a Junior Middleweight and he fights like a Lightweight.

It’s true Campbell is 32, but I don’t think having him fight Garcia is a good idea; a defeat would be a major setback and considering the incoming wave of new talents, I would rather see him try a different path.

Although, business is business as we know; we shall see…
